The Galatine and Gram are great low-level choices and are pretty easy to get. And there are PLENTY of low level, high reach weapons you can grab.
#WARFRAME STAR CHART MOD#
But even without a proper mod setup, melee weapons still get the job done. With mods that massively increase status and critical chance, you can tear through rooms with ease. The only downside of the Vectis is that you need Nano Spores and Orokin Cells for it, and early on, those are in short supply. The only downside is a lack of area of effect – if there are lots of enemies, you may start struggling. Despite being low level and lacking a decent frame, the Vectis more than handily defeated the level 40+ enemies there, even with my under-ranked Serration mod. The Vectis is a single-shot sniper rifle that reloads incredibly fast, and gets a damage bonus for landing consecutive hits.Īs proof of how good the Vectis is, I used it on my Mastery Rank 5 account to fight Grineer in Sedna’s Arena Mode. But at Mastery Rank 2, the Vectis is available pretty early on, only requiring you to get to Phobos and Ceres. VectisĪ sniper rifle seems like an odd choice here. With both equipped, you can easily cover both close range and mid-range enemies quite nicely. You can actually pair the Hek and Lex together. This augment gives you +200% multishot, for very little cost. Most notably though, the Hek has a Syndicate augment mod, Scattered Justice. The Hek is also miles above other early shotguns like the Boar and Strun, and will happily murder things for you.

It deals consistent shotgun damage, is easy to obtain and has multiple shots, in case you can’t aim. But the Hek is available early on, at MR4, and is consistently a good weapon. You can’t really go wrong with a shotgun.
#WARFRAME STAR CHART UPGRADE#
It’s still a great upgrade to the Lex, but the MR8 requirement makes it sad. By the time you reach Mastery Rank 8, you’ll probably have gotten through the entire star chart already.

The Lex Prime used to be a wonderful upgrade, but it’s no longer really obtainable. This means that a steady hand can do a lot of damage with headshots alone, both in close range and mid range. Not only does it deal pretty good damage, but the Lex has surprisingly good accuracy as well. This little MR3 hand cannon will do wonders for you. LexĪt a price of 50,000 credits, the Lex seems expensive, but it’s worth the price. Phovos the Excalibur in his blue and orange colour scheme. Luckily, I have created a list of a handful of weapons you can use, based on my own personal experience. But with so many choices, and even more as you level up, it’s hard to know what weapons are genuinely good, and which ones suck. Even early on, there are so many options available to you.
